Genetic CRISPR/CAS system

The CRISPR/CAS system has become a useful tool to manipulate the mammalian genome, including knock out of genes, over-expression and chromatin modification. We use this technology to perform forward genetic screens in immune cells and in cell lines. We have developed methods to control for false positive and false negative hits, to validate the screen results and follow-up on the mechanism.
