Perturb-seq

perturbation of cells followed by single cell RNA-seq is useful for:

  • Performing genetic screens using the transcription profile as the phenotypic readout

  • Exploring genetic interactions and constructing the genetic networks

  • Screening for new genes in heterogeneous populations of cells
